What you get

Not just acceleration — we build alongside you

A studio differs from an incubator or accelerator: we step in as co-founder and own the operating gaps until your team is strong enough to take them back.

  • 01

    Capital and follow-on

A pre-seed check up to $150k at the start and follow-on up to $500k. We help you close Series A with venture funds across Central Asia and MENA.

  • 02

    Operating partners

Ordo's bench includes founders with exits and operators from Yandex, Kaspi.kz, Wolt, and inDrive. They take on finance, growth and hiring while you focus on product.

  • 03

    Mentor network

60+ mentors from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the UAE, and Silicon Valley. A 1:1 with the right expert every two weeks.

  • 04

    Founders' School

An 8-week curriculum on unit economics, product, hiring, and pitch craft. Guest lectures from CEOs and fund partners.

  • 05

    Legal and tax stack

Incorporation in Kyrgyzstan's HTP and in Delaware, the UAE, and Kazakhstan. Ready-made SAFE, ESOP, and cap-table templates.

  • 06

    Community and infrastructure

Access to Startup Garage's 600 m² hub in Tashkent, pop-up workspace in Bishkek, and a closed founder community across both countries — weekly reviews, peer feedback, and shared chats.

Investment thesis

The kinds of companies we want to back in the first cohort

Six categories with a clear market gap in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. If your idea fits one of them, that's a strong signal for us.

Apply with your thesis
  • Fintech · Payments and credit

    Embedded fintech for SMBs

Hundreds of thousands of registered SMBs in Kyrgyzstan, but barely any banking product built for their rhythm. Alt-data scoring, BNPL, merchant acquiring, and embedded credit on top of marketplaces.

    • Scoring & underwriting
    • Embedded credit
    • Merchant services
  • B2B SaaS · Vertical

Vertical SaaS for regional retail and services

Bookkeeping, HR, inventory, shift scheduling — most SMBs in KG/KZ/UZ still run this in Excel. Narrow SaaS in national languages with regulatory nuance built in.

    • Accounting & tax
    • HR & payroll
    • Inventory ops
  • AI · Languages and automation

AI products for Turkic and CIS markets

Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Kazakh, and Tajik are barely represented in the major LLMs. The wedge: fine-tuned models, voice assistants, and AI copilots for local verticals.

    • Turkic LLMs
    • Voice & speech
    • AI copilots
  • Mobility · Logistics

Logistics for mountainous geography and cross-border trade

Bishkek–Almaty–Tashkent is a three-hour drive but lacks proper multi-modal logistics. Courier routing, FTL/LTL marketplaces, last-mile across mountain terrain.

    • Mountain last-mile
    • B2B delivery
    • Cross-border logistics
  • EdTech · Talent and skills

    Exportable talent from Central Asia

Millions of 15–24 year-olds across the region with rising demand for ORT/SAT/IELTS, programming, and remote work. Training platforms, exam prep, and developer staffing.

    • Exam prep
    • Coding bootcamps
    • Tech staffing
  • Marketplace · Cross-border

Trade rails between Central Asia, MENA, and Russia

Kyrgyzstan sits at the EAEU and SCO crossroads, with goods flowing between China, EAEU, and MENA. B2B marketplaces, export SaaS, and trade finance for SMB exporters.

    • B2B marketplaces
    • Trade finance
    • Export software

* The list is not exhaustive — we're open to projects beyond these categories if they solve a meaningful regional-market problem.

Market context

What's being said about Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia

A selection of paraphrased takes from local and regional media on the market we're building into. Quotes are summarised in our own words — these are not articles about Ordo itself: the studio is only just opening.

  • 24.kg2025
"Kyrgyzstan's High-Tech Park keeps growing at double-digit rates for the third year in a row. IT-services exports have turned into one of the country's fastest-growing currency-revenue streams."
  • The Steppe2025
"Bishkek, Almaty, and Tashkent are coalescing into a single pre-seed corridor for Central Asia. Regional funds increasingly write their first checks in Kyrgyzstan — shorter runway, lower cost of experiments."
  • Kaktus Media2025
"The local pool of developers and product managers has noticeably expanded over the past three years. Young specialists are choosing to stay — a strengthening startup scene now offers an alternative to relocating."
Frequently asked

What our admissions team answers most

Don't see your question? Drop us a line on Telegram and we'll reply personally.

  • 01Who can apply?
Teams of two or more, or solo founders with deep industry experience. We're open to founders from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Age and formal education don't matter.
  • 02How much equity does the studio take?
In Residency — 7–12% common equity depending on stage and check size. SAFE with a 20% discount on the follow-on round. All terms are fixed and discussed before signing.
  • 03Is the program paid for founders?
Residency is not — we take equity and pay founders a salary for the first 6 months. Founders' School is paid: 24,000 KGS for 8 weeks, with discounts and scholarships for finalists.
  • 04How long is the selection process?
Usually 3–4 weeks: screening (5 days) → operating partner interview (1 week) → due diligence and an investment committee meeting (2 weeks). Decisions are made by partner vote.
  • 05Can I work remotely from another country?
At least 3 days per week from the Bishkek office for the first 6 months — speed of decisions depends on it. After that, hybrid mode with trips to Almaty, Tashkent, and Dubai as needed.
  • 06Where do you incorporate the company?
Default structure is a Delaware C-Corp with a subsidiary in Kyrgyzstan (HTP) or Kazakhstan (AIFC). For MENA-focused projects we add a DIFC entity.
  • 07What happens after 18 months?
By the end of the program the company should have a closed Series A or a clear path to one: cap table, investment bankers, data room. The studio stays involved as a shareholder and takes a board seat.
  • 08What if the idea doesn't work out?
Pivots happen — we've gone through them with most residents. If the team wants to wind down, we part ways amicably, equity returns to the studio, and founders stay in the alumni network.
