Mentor network
Become an Ordo mentor and back the next generation of Central Asian founders
We're building a network of 100+ practitioners — operators, founders, and investors willing to share 2–4 hours a month with Ordo and Startup Garage residents.
Mentors are the heart of the studio. Every two weeks residents get a 1:1 with someone who's already built what they're starting on. If you've gone from first hire to Series A, or led product teams inside regional Big Tech — you fit.
Who we're looking for
Mentor profiles for the first cohort
We don't look for generalists. The most useful mentors are narrow practitioners who can review one specific area: product, hiring, sales, legal structure, or fundraising.
Operating leaders
VP Product / VP Engineering / Head of Growth at Series B+. You've gone through hiring cycles, releases, and the search for PMF.
Founders with an exit
You went from MVP to an M&A or a Series B. You can review a term sheet, cap table, and the logic of the next round.
Market experts
Deep expertise in fintech, AI/ML, vertical SaaS, edtech, mobility, or cross-border trade across CA and MENA.
Investors and GPs
Pre-seed/seed fund partners, angels with 5+ deals. You help with investor pitches, due diligence, and round prep.
Lawyers and finance pros
Corporate lawyers (Delaware, UAE, EAEU), CFO/tax advisors, ESOP and transfer-pricing specialists.
Talent and HR partners
Tech recruiters, heads of people, relocation experts. You know CIS, UAE, and Silicon Valley markets.
How you participate
Three commitment levels — pick yours
All three formats live in the same network. You can start with Office Hours and grow into a resident advisor if the chemistry clicks.
Sprint Mentor
Attached to one team for three months. You help them clear a specific gate: launching, hiring a key engineer, or prepping a round.

Advisor / Board observer
Long-term involvement as an advisor or board observer. The right fit when you and the team have already clicked.
- Written agreement and SAFE/equity

- Carry in the Ordo follow-on fund (year-end review)

Sprint Mentors and Advisors get options in resident companies on a standard 1+3 year vesting.
Travel and events
We invite mentors to Demo Days in Bishkek, Tashkent, and Dubai. Lodging and transfers covered by the studio.
